These pen cases were made by Shogado and use Kyoto style yuzen design paper outer and inner surfaces. Yuzen is a dye technique famous for its use in kimonos. They will store well pens, brushes, accessories or whatever will fit.
Founded in 1964 in Kyoto, Shogado are a fine Japanese paper and stationary company. Â Using traditional processes they adapt classics in Japanese aesthetics to contemporary applications.
They are 21cm long, 6cm wide, and 3cm high. The cases are available in four colour designs
