This premium tokujo green tea is a refined presence within the Hamada range. The tea showcases the Okumidori tea variety grown in Chiran, and has sought rare quality from within this relatively rare leaf type. The leaves have been roasted at a low heat to show the golden quality within the tea s green colour. The taste while smooth, also has body, umami and a slight sweetness in the aftertaste.
The ideal brewing temperature is 70-80 degrees, with a brewing time of about a minute.

About Hamada Tea
Hamada Tea are a tea house based in the Chiran region in the south of Kagoshima’s Satsuma peninsula.
Led by sixth level qualified tea master Shuhei Hamada, the teas of his firm explore flavours and scents of the fertile Chiran growing area. Born into a tea trading family, Hamada sought to take his firm to fresh levels in blending, and to source leaves across the region. A variable business, dependent on annual crops, and subtleties in flavour, Hamada retain a consistent quality and sense of exploration.
